WHO WE ARE
Above all else, we’re followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that He was the Son of God, and that He meant what He said to His disciples, “I have come that you may have life, and have life abundant”. We live our lives by taking Him at His word. At Acadiana Baptist Church, our mission is to help people get from where they are to where God wants them to be.
WHERE WE COME FROM
The story of Acadiana Baptist Church is still being written. Many churches have joined in prayer seeing the great need for scriptural New Testament churches in south central Louisiana…specifically south of I-10. Calvary Baptist Church in Minden, LA has called Bro. Jason and his family to move to the hub city of Acadiana to begin this God honoring work. We began meeting in the summer of 2016 in the facilities of Ernest Gallet Elementary School in Youngsville but in the Fall of 2016, have leased a new storefront on Verot School Rd in the Verot Village Shopping Center. In May, 2018, we relocated to 3302 Johnston St. in order to better reach the people of our town. In November 2020, we purchased our current meeting place at 163 N. Long St.

We believe in the infallible, verbal inspiration of the whole Bible and that the Bible is the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice (Psalm 119:160; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17).
WHERE WE’RE GOING
We’re always moving towards earth looking more like Heaven. This looks like fostering a community that loves, that worships, and that believes in the impossible. We move as a community by putting one foot in front of the other, following the wind of the Spirit one step at a time. What does this mean for you? Lead Pastor
Hi! I’m Pastor Jason and I have been the lead pastor of Acadiana Baptist Church since 2016, when we started. I love preaching and coaching youth sports. I’m a bit of a foodie and people tell me that I’m always looking out for the next meal. I would love to sit down and talk with you about the Lord and do all I possibly can to help you find the peace and purpose that only comes from a relationship with Jesus. She’s my right hand and biggest support. God has also blessed us with two boys, Parker and Peyton who have always been a huge part of our ministry.
